The Harvey W. Smith Watercraft Center carries on the rich boatbuilding heritage of North Carolina coast.  Visitors are encouraged to watch, and take boatbuilding courses offered throughout the year for all skill levels.

The Beaufort Oars is a community based, traditional rowing club that encourages enjoyment on the water, social activity, and exercise.  
Visit the North Carolina Maritime Museum in Beaufort, North Carolina for a taste of coastal cultures and maritime history.  The Museum is the official repository for artifacts from Blackbeard’s Queen Anne’s Revenge.
