Commemorative Brick Program
Along the waterfront at Gallants Channel, thousands of commemorative bricks tell stories of family, friendship, service, remembrance and a shared connection to North Carolina’s maritime heritage.
Brick Orders Are Temporarily Paused
We are working with our brick distributor to create a new integrated ordering form that will make purchasing and personalizing commemorative bricks easier. New brick orders are temporarily paused while that work is completed. Thank you for your patience—we look forward to reopening ordering soon.
Good News for Those Waiting on a Brick
We just placed a large order for commemorative bricks purchased over the last two years. Once those bricks are confirmed and installed at Gallants Channel, we will email purchasers with details and invite you to come commemorate with us.
Your Story Becomes Part of Gallants Channel
A commemorative brick is more than an inscription—it becomes part of a place dedicated to preserving and sharing North Carolina’s maritime story.
The brick walkways at Gallants Channel honor loved ones, recognize military service, celebrate families and milestones, and preserve personal connections to Beaufort, the Museum and our coastal heritage.

Building a Better Ordering Experience

The new process will provide one streamlined place to submit brick information, personalization details and future orders.
While that work is underway, we have temporarily paused new brick orders. We appreciate your patience as we put the new system in place and prepare to reopen the program.
