Friends of the Museum Annual Membership Meeting

The Annual Membership Meeting will:

• Review highlights of the past year including the financial position of the Friends
• Review Board structure and the election of members of the Board of Directors for 2025
• Review State of the Museum with Maria Vann, Director of the Maritime Museum System
• Provide an update on the progress of plans for the Maritime Museum’s HVAC Project and the construction of the Maritime Education Center (MEC) at the Museum’s Gallants Channel Annex

The Nominating Committee for The Friends has proposed
the following candidates for the 2025 Board of Directors:

New:
Ali Ciampa
Rendon Nelson
Randy Parker

Incumbents:
Reuben Saunders (second three-year term)
George Stanziale (filled a vacant seat)

Members and the public are invited to the NC Maritime Museum’s Holiday Open House at 4:00pm prior to the Membership Meeting in the Watercraft Center. Meet and mingle with Museum Staff and Friends Board members. Please join us to share the holiday cheer!
