The Beaufort Women’s Sailing Club was founded in 2012, designed to bring together women from all background and experience levels to share their love of sailing. THE CLUB IS CURRENTLY ON HIATUS. CHECK BACK FOR UPDATES COMING SOON.
Some have sailed for a lifetime. Others are only beginning their adventure. For women who sail and those who want to learn, this group will organize activities that may include group sailing, on water instruction and off water instruction. For experienced sailors there are opportunities to take the helm for all day sails and regattas. The club also provides opportunities for members with small crafts to bring those out for group sailing. BWSC also organizes several annual social gatherings that focus on our love of coastal living, such as a nature tour of Rachel Carson Reserve, a cruise aboard the Lookout Catamaran and outdoor parties for members and a guest.
Come experience Beaufort as it is meant to be experienced. Sail a traditional wooden Spritsail, solo on a Sunfish or share a day with friends!
Sailing Schedule
Weekly during the sailing season at various locations including Gallants Channel.
The Club maintains a closed Facebook page for members where the sailing schedule and other information is shared. Sailing schedules are sent out via email to all members.
