Our newly designed Port Of Call Museum Store is in need of Store Ambassadors! Ambassadors are those engaging folks who would volunteer to meet and greet the public, and generally assist Sunny Ingram, our delightful store manager, with jobs both big and small. Think pricing, unpacking boxes, folding tee shirts, restocking shelves – or just making Port Of Call customers feel welcome.
Between now and the end of the academic year when school groups tour, or during busy summer days, there are often times when an extra smiling face is needed to help store and museum staff. Volunteering is a great way to meet people, support the Friends organization, and enjoy some free air conditioning.
